I noticed the animation looked a little different today and Pound saving his family was the only thing I could think about because he deserved better than that ending

Episode Context

Sitting deep in the Whole Cake Island arc's endgame, this episode follows directly from the moment Sanji and Bege committed to their captain-level resolve and shifts focus to the treacherous extraction from Cacao Island. It represents a critical pivot point where the cake subplot and the broader escape plan converge under mounting Big Mom Pirate pressure. The events here set the stage for the Straw Hats' subsequent naval confrontations and the arc's climactic showdowns against Big Mom's forces.
