It makes so much sense why Sanji values food and kindness now. His family treated him like a piece of trash and he deserved so much better

sanji crying in that dark cell while wearing a mask was the most depressing thing this arc has shown so far

Luffy getting back up so fast after that fight felt a bit quick but Nami is the real star here. She is brave for taking on a guy that strong

Watching Judge put that iron mask on Sanji was genuinely hard to watch and that man is a monster for treating his own son like a mistake

I am so glad Reiju finally helped him out at the end. I was so angry watching those brothers beat him up. Judge is a monster for letting that happen

It takes a lot of guts for Nami to stand her ground against someone like Cracker, but her loyalty to Luffy really showed during that diversion

My jaw seriously dropped when I saw Sanji in that horrible iron mask, it made me feel so gross. I just can't wrap my head around how a father, *any* father, could do something so absolutely twisted to his own child, Judge is truly despicable.

The brothers are just as bad as their father and watching them gang up on Sanji was brutal. He was just a little kid with a heart

Those brothers beating up Sanji just because he stayed a normal human is so messed up and it explains so much about why he turned out the way he did

Reiju being stuck in that house is tragic. She acted like a bully but at least she saved him from that dungeon in the end

The contrast between Sanji making food and his brothers just wanting to be killing machines is so sad, but at least Nami is out there proving she can hold her own against Cracker

I always wondered why Sanji was so obsessed with cooking and being a gentleman, but seeing him get treated like a failed experiment by Judge explains everything. That scene where he is locked in the dark wearing an iron mask was way too much. I am just glad Nami is holding it down against Cracker so Luffy can actually win this fight

I knew Sanji had a rough life but seeing him locked in that dungeon with the iron mask really put things into perspective for me, especially with how he treats food now, and it makes the way his brothers beat him up even worse because they are just soulless weapons while he actually has a heart and cares about things besides power

Judge telling everyone that Sanji was dead just to lock him in a dungeon is sick. You can tell why Sanji hates his name so much now

Sanji looking so absolutely defeated in that dungeon was just heartbreaking for me to witness. But then Reiju, of all people, actually offering him a tiny bit of comfort, made me question if there's more to her than just being another Vinsmoke, offering a small, complex spark of warmth in that dark place.

I really wasn't ready for how heavy this backstory would be. Seeing Judge treat his own son like a failed science experiment and locking him away in a mask is just pure evil. It makes me respect Sanji so much more for keeping his kindness and his passion for cooking despite growing up in such a hateful household

It was so brave of Nami to refuse to back down against a Sweet Commander just to keep Luffy safe while he was trying to recover

The fact that Sanji had to live in a dark dungeon with an iron mask on his face is terrifying and his dad faking his death to everyone is pure evil

Judge is actually the worst. Putting that mask on your own kid is pure evil. Sanji was just trying to cook for his mom and it hurt to watch

That visual of Sanji crying behind the iron mask while his dad basically deletes him from existence is the most depressing thing this show has done in a long time
