Momonosuke finally finding his courage to speak to Zunesha made me so proud, and I was absolutely stunned when that massive trunk just *obliterated* Jack's entire fleet. It makes me wonder just how deep his connection to the giant elephant really goes.

Episode Context

Episode 774 is the climactic pressure point of the Zou Arc, directly escalating the threat introduced in Episode 773 ('The Nightmare Returns! The Invincible Jack's Fierce Attack!') into a full-scale crisis for the island and its inhabitants. It functions as the arc's turning point, forcing key characters into decisive roles before transitioning into Episode 775 ('Save Zunesha! The Straw Hat's Rescue Operation!'), which shifts focus toward resolution and aftermath. This is the episode where the Zou Arc stops building and starts paying off.
