Jack is a complete monster for using that chemical gas on an entire city just because he was annoyed he couldn't win the fair way

The animation for those fight scenes looked so much better than the last few weeks and the pacing actually felt fast for once

Brook using his ice powers to take out those goons at the very end was a great way to start their rescue

Duke Dogstorm losing a leg and still acting like a leader was a tough thing to see after that long battle

The moment Sanji and the rest of the crew finally washed up on that wrecked island, I let out a breath I didn't realize I was holding. After all the rough stuff they'd been through, my gut told me this was the start of something totally new for them, and I'm itching to see what kind of chaos awaits.

The way Dogstorm and Cat Viper lost their limbs while standing their ground was heavy to watch

I still can't believe Jack just used gas to win and it actually worked against the minks after all that fighting

Nekomamushi is easily my new favorite character because his energy during that fight was so different from everyone else, and I loved how he used that staff. It was so hard to see him and Inuarashi get tortured like that after they fought for days on end without stopping for a second, just to protect their city from Jack.

My heart actually sank seeing the capital in ruins like that after those flashbacks showed how hard the minks fought Jack

It is crazy that Kaido already has those gas weapons, and it makes you wonder if Caesar was even planning to make them that deadly or if he just wanted them to paralyze people

I really liked the focus on cat viper during that fight because his entrance and the music made the atmosphere feel so much heavier and darker

I thought Jack was a beast but him needing that poison gas to beat the Minks makes me think his bounty is just for being a menace and not actually being stronger than the dukes

Watching the Minks get decimated by that gas was brutal and it makes you really want to see Luffy take Jack down for good

My eyes were actually happy this week because the art style stayed consistent and the fight scenes with the Minks did not look like a mess of static frames for a change

Zou looked like such a cool place before Jack turned it into a graveyard and the scale of the destruction is just depressing to see

Wanda crying on Nami after all that destruction was so heavy and then the licking started which was kind of a weird turn for a heartfelt scene

I was honestly shocked seeing how Jack just gave up on a fair fight and used that poison gas to win against the minks

that bond between wanda and nami is actually really sweet and that moment where she was ready to blow herself up felt so heavy

The animation actually stayed consistent for once, and it made the battle against that mammoth Jack look much more brutal than before. Seeing the poison gas clear out while Nami and the others arrived felt like a huge turning point for the arc. That new wanted poster for Sanji is going to change everything because someone high up clearly wants him back alive

chopper losing his mind over a talking mink when he is literally a reindeer that talks is the funniest part of the whole week

EPISODE CONTEXT

This episode builds directly on the previous installment's depiction of the Mink Tribe's desperate battle against Jack, expanding on the scale of destruction and the toll it has taken on Zou's inhabitants. The arrival of the Twirly Hat crew marks a pivotal transition point in the Zou arc, connecting the Straw Hats' scattered factions and setting the stage for their deeper involvement in the Mink Tribe's crisis. What follows will hinge on the alliances forged here and the revelations waiting beneath Zou's surface.
