Cavendish is such a narcissist and he really just stood there posing while fighting that random clone guy but Sanji showing up to kick Doflamingo at the end was actually insane

I was so stressed when Nami screamed and Doflamingo heard her because Law worked so hard to trick him and Caesar with that heart swap move

The animation at the start looked like it was from 2005 and it took forever to get moving but seeing Sanji clash with Doflamingo saved the whole thing

It felt like nothing happened for twenty minutes because the pacing was so slow, and the drawing quality looked rough at first. Then Sanji suddenly dropped in to stop Doflamingo, and the animation actually got good for a second. Law was pulling some moves too with the heart swapping, but Nami screaming might have ruined his entire plan

Okay, so Cavendish battling his own clone was seriously bizarre, but I couldn't help but crack up at how he kept playing to the audience even while fighting himself. I mean, who does that? His sheer theatrical flair is just so him, it's amazing.

Rebecca barely even hurts anyone in that ring and Luffy watching her fight is interesting but Cavendish and his horse are way too much of a distraction

My heart stopped when Doflamingo almost got the Sunny but Law using his room to swap everything around is why he is my favorite character right now

Rebecca looked really nervous in the arena while everyone was booing her and seeing the crowd be that mean to her was hard to watch

I really liked Sanji appearing out of nowhere to block Doflamingo and keep the crew safe

I can't believe how creepy Cavendish got when he passed out and that face change was actually scary

The Block D fighters are taking up way too much time and it made the episode feel like it was taking way too long

Law really had me on the edge of my seat when he was boxed in by Doflamingo and Fujitora. I totally didn't expect him to use the environment like that, just tossing rocks around to pull off Shambles – his quick thinking is genuinely next level and it makes me wonder what other tricks he has up his sleeve.

I think I shouted when Sanji kicked Doflamingo in the face and saved everyone on the ship

Whoa, when Cavendish stepped up for Rebecca in the arena, I actually got chills; it made me realize he's not just some pompous pretty boy, he's got a genuine sense of justice hiding under all that flair.

It was cool seeing Law use his powers to mess with Doflamingo by just throwing a bunch of rocks into the air

Law using those rocks to trick Doflamingo and get away from that crazy bridge fight was such a smart move

The switch from the beautiful pirate to that terrifying face was such a weird shift, but it made Cavendish interesting

Sanji, you absolute madman, going head-to-head with Doflamingo like that at the very end just had me on the edge of my seat! I knew he was seriously outclassed, but my guy still stepped up, and it totally made me remember why I love his protective streak for the crew.

Sanji showing up right when Doflamingo was about to end things felt like such a huge relief for the crew

I was legitimately worried for the crew on the Sunny and Sanji coming out of nowhere to save everyone was the highlight for me. The animation in the arena felt a bit rough, but the Sanji stuff looked decent and I keep thinking about Doflamingo being a Celestial Dragon. It really helps explain why he acts so high and mighty.

EPISODE CONTEXT

This episode follows the Straw Hats' encounter with Giolla and shifts the camera squarely onto the Colosseum tournament, deepening the Dressrosa arc's web of competitors and rivalries. Cavendish's formal introduction and Rebecca's escalating struggles build out the tournament's stakes before the narrative pivots toward a major confrontation between Sanji and Doflamingo in the following episode. It's a critical character-establishment chapter that pays off significantly as the Dressrosa arc intensifies.
