I felt sick to my stomach when it showed those kids were getting drugged with candy and Caesar is actually a monster for doing that to them

Caesar has the weirdest laugh in the series and it makes your ears ring every time he says shulololo and that voice actor is perfect for a mad scientist type

Caesar Clown, really? I was starting to lose track of all the Vegapunk talk and gas explosion theories, but realizing he orchestrated the whole thing kinda sent a shiver down my spine. It makes me wonder what other messed-up things he's been up to behind the scenes.

You see Law standing there next to that freak and you just know he has some kind of secret plan because there is no way he actually supports kidnapping children

I am still reeling from that reveal about the candy being laced with drugs to make the giant children addicted and Caesar is easily one of the most sickening villains we have met, his voice actor is doing such a great job making him sound absolutely unhinged and I really want to see Luffy punch those weird faces of his soon

The way Sanji and the others were fumbling in their swapped bodies was honestly such a good laugh for me, a much-needed break from the intensity. But then I remember Caesar's chilling indifference to those poor kids, and it just makes me wonder what kind of monster could do something so cruel.

That laugh is the most annoying thing ever and Caesar is basically just a budget Bleach villain with a gas fruit but at least he is easy to hate

I was so relieved when Usopp caught Caesar lying about the explosion and didnt just believe his obvious propaganda about being a savior or anything like that

I actually got chills hearing Caesar laugh because it sounds so much like Frieza and that guy is clearly a total psychopath for what he is doing to those kids on this island

I felt so bad for those giant children and it makes my skin crawl seeing how Caesar is just using them for some sick science project while they suffer

Brownbeard talks too much, but learning that Caesar was the one who actually nuked the island while Vegapunk tried to stop him was a massive surprise.

Law better have a really good explanation for hanging out with a guy who kidnaps children because his reputation is looking pretty bad right now after seeing what goes on in that lab

Caesar trying to pin the whole island disaster on Vegapunk shows how much of a coward he is and I bet Vegapunk is actually the one who was trying to stop the gas
ancient_robot_295's avatar

My skin was crawling when Caesar started that shulolololooo laugh because he looks like a straight up nightmare and the way he treats those kids like lab rats is just evil and I really hope Chopper finds a way to fix the growth stuff because seeing them cry for those drugs was way more intense than I expected for this hot and cold island arc

Caesar is way more twisted than the usual goofy villains and that gas look he has going on is actually pretty intimidating compared to the usual goofy pirates

Law, chilling there with Caesar Clown, has me totally baffled. I mean, after everything we've seen, how could he possibly team up with someone who experimented on those poor kids? My mind is racing trying to figure out what his actual angle is here, because this can't be just a simple alliance.
eternatus_315's avatar
eternatus_315
Seeing the way Caesar treats those kids is genuinely hard to watch, because he is just grooming them with that candy and it makes the whole Punk Hazard vibe feel way darker than I expected. I am also really confused about what Law is doing with a guy like that, but he definitely has some secret plan going on behind the scenes

Brownbeard calling everyone the worst generation was such a cool moment even if he is kind of a loser who got played by a mad scientist

Smoker clearing Vegapunk of the gas attack and putting it all on Caesar makes it seem like the government might be hiding a decent guy after all and the real trash is the clown

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming directly off Episode 588's reunion between Luffy and Law — a moment loaded with post-timeskip significance — this episode pivots from character reconnection to the core mystery driving the Punk Hazard arc. It establishes Caesar Clown as the arc's central antagonist and lays essential groundwork for the escalating confrontations ahead. The revelations here feed directly into the alliance dynamics and moral stakes that will define the next stretch of episodes.
