When Franky unveiled his new robot and that Straw Hat logo flashed during the docking, I actually gasped a little! It was such a perfect, over-the-top nod to those old sentai shows, and it just made me instantly love his latest creation even more.

Franky really spent his two years well because the General Franky mech is a huge step up from anything he had back at Enies Lobby or Thriller Bark. I am curious if he based the design on Vegapunk's old blueprints or if he just came up with the whole docking idea himself and the fact that Nami and Robin find it stupid makes me love it more

How could they even fight with Noah coming down like that? I was on the edge of my seat seeing that massive ship plummet towards Fish-Man Island, making Hody's whole plan feel even more devastating.

Luffy landing that punch right after the Pirate King comment made me so happy. That hit was so earned and it shows how much Luffy has changed

Zoro and Sanji stepping in to clear the way so Luffy could just charge straight at Hody was such a great moment. The crew is on a whole different level after the timeskip

I was laughing so hard at Luffy and Chopper having those starry eyes when General Franky finally appeared because that is exactly how every guy watching this felt. Robin being totally unimpressed was the funniest part

Chopper swapping between all his forms now with only one rumble ball is so handy, and seeing him use that digging move was a nice touch for his growth during the timeskip.

Captain Luffy getting more serious about Hody while his crew debuts their new moves shows how much they have actually grown over two years

The contrast between the guys screaming about the robot and Nami just looking done with everything made the whole docking scene even funnier to watch

Zoro and Sanji just breezing through those thousand of enemies shows how much stronger they got after training for two years and it makes the old fishman pirates look like nothing

Nami and Robin having zero interest in the giant robot while the boys were crying from excitement was the funniest part of the whole fishman island fight

The animation on the General Franky reveal looked way better than the last few episodes and that super sentai posing with the explosions in the background looked really great

The joke about Franky being a pervert while he shows off his new transformation was a great way to keep the humor alive during such a massive battle on the plaza

The straw hats are making this look way too easy, especially when Franky brought out that tank and motorcycle to combine them into the shogun robot

I thought the General Franky transformation was so funny because Luffy and Chopper were losing their minds while Robin just looked disappointed at the giant robot

Watching the new Franky Shogun just walk over those fishmen was so satisfying and the way he uses the sword even though he is a robot looks really impressive

I was honestly worried about how Franky would top himself after the timeskip but the docking sequence with the kurosai and the brachiotank was everything I wanted from his new form, and it is so hilarious that he spent two years building a giant mecha just to play with, and seeing the massive robot sword in action was just the coolest thing ever

Noah just plummeting toward the island genuinely made my stomach drop; I mean, what even is that, and Luffy's completely dead serious look just told me he knows exactly how bad this is and he's about to step up in a huge way. I'm so worried for everyone on Fish-Man Island.

My eyes were glued to the screen when that giant ship Noah started moving but catching Pandaman in the crowd for a split second was the best part of the whole episode

Star eyes from Luffy and Chopper at General Franky were the best part of the episode and I felt exactly like them

EPISODE CONTEXT

This episode builds directly on the previous episode's reveal of the Thousand Sunny's hidden arsenal, escalating the Fish-Man Island arc's central battle in Gyoncorde Plaza. It serves as a showcase for the Straw Hats' post-timeskip upgrades, particularly Franky's, while the larger threat of the Noah ship looms just ahead. The plaza battle is approaching its peak, positioning the crew for even higher-stakes confrontations in the episodes to follow.
