Fifty thousand fishmen went down in an instant and I think Luffy might actually be ready to be king now

Sanji literally flying through the air was so cool and Zoro is just a beast now with those new sword styles

Sanji using sky walk to fly around the battlefield is a huge shift for his fighting style and flying through the air is such a massive upgrade for him

Sanji literally darting across the sky just to shake those pursuers had me cracking up, I can't believe how frantic he was! That new combat speed he's got after the timeskip is genuinely unnerving though, it makes me wonder what else he's capable of now.

that black rope dragon twister just kept going and going until it cleared the entire plaza of those shield guys

sanji using those ivankov style moves with his kicks is exactly the kind of payoff my heart needed after all the hell he went through on that island during the timeskip

the way they put a flashback inside another flashback was a bit much and it really killed the momentum of the big fight in the middle of the plaza

sanji moving that fast in the air makes him way more dangerous than he ever was before the timeskip

i am still laughing that sanji learned how to fly just by running away from the okama for two years straight

Watching the same training clips over and over again while the straw hats are supposed to be fighting for the island is really starting to get annoying

i died laughing at sanjis flashback and seeing how he learned sky walk just to get away from the newkama was the funniest thing this week and his kicks looked insane today

the sky walk is hilarious to me because sanji basically forced himself to fly just to escape those people

I know some of the fights with the generic armored fishmen were dragging a bit, but seeing zoro and sanji finally unleash after the timeskip made it worth the wait. sanji flying through the air after his miserable training is actually hilarious, and zoro just cutting through iron like it is paper shows how much he learned from mihawk
bakeneko_blade_222's avatar

Luffy knocking out half the army with one look was so cool and his talk about not wanting to be a hero because he wants to keep all the meat for himself is such a classic Luffy thing
miraidon's avatar

Zoro really pulled out a literal tornado made of blades and those fishmen had no chance at all
hassel's avatar

Zoro cutting through that whole crowd with the dragon twister is absurd and he barely even broke a sweat

It was cool seeing Zoro and Sanji finally step up, but the way the anime stretched out those manga panels made the whole fight feel a bit slower than it should have been

I am still losing my mind over Sanji literally walking in the sky and those kicks reminded me of Ivankov in the best way

Robin using her giant limbs and Franky launching those new rockets was exactly the kind of show of force the crew needed after the timeskip

Zoro and Sanji showoff

EPISODE CONTEXT

This episode follows directly from Luffy's massive Conqueror's Haki moment that wiped out 50,000 enemies, now distributing the spotlight across the crew as the Fish-Man Island battle escalates. Zoro and Sanji's post-timeskip abilities take center stage, serving as the crew's formal reintroduction as a combat unit after two years apart. Their performances here build momentum toward the individual matchups and climactic confrontations that will define the arc's endgame against Hody Jones and his officers.
