Episode Context

This episode continues the Fish-Man Island flashback that began in the previous episode, pulling back the curtain on the historical trauma and ideological conflicts that define the island's present-day tensions. The backstories of Queen Otohime and Fisher Tiger are essential context for understanding the antagonists and stakes of the current arc. Expect this flashback sequence to build further before the narrative returns to Luffy and the crew's present-day confrontation.
