The crew being split between the palace and the sea forest is stressful, especially with Zoro and the others locked up while Hordy gets stronger

Hordy Jones is a total coward for using those energy steroids just to keep up with the crew and it makes him look so weak compared to actual strength

Episode Context

This episode follows directly from Zoro's fierce underwater clash with Hordy Jones, pushing the Fish-Man Island arc into full crisis mode as control of Ryugu Palace shifts. It deepens the consequences of Hordy's aggression and fractures the crew's position, forcing them into reactive survival. The groundwork laid here feeds directly into the broader confrontation between the Straw Hats and the New Fish-Man Pirates that dominates the arc's back half.
