Shirahoshi being utterly paralyzed as those axes started whizzing around her room was genuinely tough for me to witness; it really drove home how much she just longs for safety, and seeing her so vulnerable, I desperately hoped someone would intervene. I felt a real mix of fear and frustration, wanting to leap into the screen and help her escape that horrible trap.
