EPISODE REVIEWS

I still can't get over Kuma protecting the Sunny and he really spent two years getting beat up just so the crew had a home to come back to

Episode Context

Coming directly off the crew's emotional reunion and departure from Sabaody Archipelago, this episode marks the true beginning of the Fish-Man Island saga, the first major arc of the post-timeskip era. It bridges the celebratory tone of the reunion with the unknown dangers lurking beneath the sea, establishing the underwater setting and its rules. Everything here is laying groundwork for the conflicts, allies, and revelations waiting at Fish-Man Island itself.
