Caribou appearing with that messed up Joker face and stabbing the Marine out of nowhere really made him feel like a massive threat for the upcoming journey

Episode Context

Sitting squarely in the Return to Sabaody arc, this episode follows directly from Luffy's arrival at the archipelago and his first encounter with the impostor crew. Episode 520 widens the lens to the other Straw Hats as they navigate their own paths back together, deepening the reunion setup while escalating the fake crew threat. It bridges the initial reintroductions into the confrontation that the next episode will deliver head-on.
