Crocodile actually helping Luffy escape makes it easy to forget he was the villain back in Alabasta and now he seems cool

The animation looked a bit rough in some scenes but the actual fight with Magellan still felt very intense and scary

Episode Context

Coming directly off Luffy's encounter with Blackbeard in Episode 447, the focus pivots to the group's frantic push to escape Impel Down before Magellan overwhelms them entirely. This episode raises the difficulty ceiling on the breakout, putting Ivankov front and center as a countermeasure against the warden's terrifying abilities. It bridges the mid-escape chaos into the next phase of the plan, setting up further complications and tactical shifts in the episodes ahead.
