This kind of carefree, party-like episode was such a satisfying aftermath to a grueling fight. I love this kind of ambiance—it felt so freeing and well-earned.

This was a lighthearted aftermath episode showing Nami’s character development. As usual, Luffy was such an idiot, lol. I love seeing them all happy and carefree like this.

The pinwheel story really got me. That was seriously one of the cutest and most heartwarming moments 🥹 This episode was a great aftermath of the arc—lighthearted and well-deserved after everything they went through.

A warm, emotional send-off that highlights closure and gratitude. The tone feels uplifting after heavy conflict.

this is one of the most emotionally satisfying sendoffs in early one piece - nami finally saying goodbye to her village, getting that new tattoo, and running through the crowd to catch the ship hits different every time, the whole episode just breathes relief and hope after everything arlong put her through

It's a touching and heartwarming episode. Nami reminiscing the past is so nostalgic and it's reminding Nami's dream. How they show that Nami is talking to Bellemere about what happened and her decision is so touching. I like what they did in the end.

Genzo threatening to hunt Luffy down at the grave carried so much weight, and the captain actually taking it seriously showed how much respect they have for Nami

The way Nami replaced that awful Arlong mark with the tangerine and windmill tattoo is such a perfect way to show she finally owns her life again and the meaning behind it is so sweet

Usopp telling those massive lies to the kids made the victory feel real because it brought back some much needed laughter after the nightmare those people went through

Nami looking at the old map she drew as a kid really got to me, and it made her official departure with the crew feel so earned after everything she suffered

Everyone realizing their wallets were gone at the same time was hilarious and it felt like the perfect goodbye for the resident thief cat

Zoro drinking while covered in those insane bandages was funny because that man really does not care about medical advice as long as there is booze

I couldn't stop grinning when Nami robbed the whole village as she ran for the ship since it was such a classic way for her to leave without making everyone cry too much

I was really hoping they would show Nami getting that Arlong mark removed because that symbol was basically her prison for a decade and seeing it replaced by the mikan and the pinwheel felt so personal and it was a nice touch that Nojiko did something similar to support her because it really highlights how much they all care

Luffy giving that thumbs up to Genzo was massive because he clearly understood the weight of the promise he was making to his new navigator

I still can't believe Nami actually robbed the entire village while she was leaving and she just stood on the ship laughing with all those wallets like a maniac while everyone was yelling at her

The mikan and pinwheel tattoo is such a beautiful tribute to Bell-mère and Genzo and it shows Nami is her own person again

Watching Luffy smash that room full of maps felt so right because he knew exactly how much Nami hated that place and Arlong deserved to lose everything

Usopp telling those massive lies to the kids is actually kind of sweet because he finally got to be the hero he always pretends to be in his stories

Sanji and Zoro already acting like an old married couple at the party is great and their dynamic is the best part of the crew outside of the big fights

EPISODE CONTEXT

This episode serves as the epilogue to the Arlong Park Arc, one of early One Piece's most emotionally charged storylines, following Luffy's decisive defeat of Arlong and the liberation of Nami's village. It provides essential closure for Nami's backstory and formally cements her commitment to the Straw Hat crew. From here, the series pivots toward the Grand Line, marking the end of the East Blue saga's major conflicts and setting the stage for a much larger world ahead.
