I have been waiting for someone to hit that jerk Charlos and Luffy did it in the best way possible. That black and white animation made the impact feel so heavy and it was totally deserved

Luffy punching that celestial dragon was the most insane thing and the way the color drained from the screen was just perfect. He did not even hesitate after Hachi got shot

Luffy hitting that celestial dragon was the best thing ever and the way the rest of the crew just started fighting with him made me so happy because they have his back no matter what

The auction house fight was chaotic in the best way and seeing the three captains stand together at the end made the whole arc feel so much more dangerous

Watching Charlos get his face caved in was so satisfying after how he treated Camie and the other slaves, and seeing the crew jump in to back their captain up without a second thought was even better, and I think that having Law and Kid getting involved makes the whole situation feel way bigger than just one crew

You have to respect how Law and Kid just sat there smiling while Luffy turned the whole auction house into a war zone against the world government

I still cant believe Luffy actually punched that noble in the face and seeing Kid and Law just watching from the sidelines was such a cool way to see their reaction

Seeing Luffy smack that world noble was my highlight because I really wanted that guy to pay for what he did to Hachi

Everything went south so fast once Hachi got shot but Luffy handled it the only way he knows how and now the marines are bringing an admiral to the island

Rayleigh showing up to save Camie was a total game changer, and that power he used to knock everyone out is making everyone really curious about Gol Rogers old crew

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting deep within the Sabaody Archipelago arc, Episode 397 is a direct escalation from the auction house tensions that erupted in the previous episode, pushing the crew past the point of no return. This is a pivotal turning point where the Straw Hats' actions carry enormous weight, drawing attention from forces far more powerful than anything they've faced on this island. The fallout from this episode feeds directly into subsequent installments that dramatically reshape the crew's situation on Sabaody.
