EPISODE REVIEWS

Luffy really outshone everyone there, and it was just plain funny to see Don Krieg fall apart without his armor on. Plus, Sanji timed everything just right, taking Don Krieg down immediately after the save was made.

Episode Context

Episode 29 serves as the climactic finale of the Baratie Arc's central confrontation, capping off multiple episodes of escalating tension between Luffy and the heavily armed Don Krieg. The previous episodes built up Krieg as the arc's primary threat while deepening Sanji's backstory, and this episode delivers the payoff on the combat side. With this fight resolved, the series pivots toward wrapping up the arc's character threads and launching the crew toward their next major destination.
