Episode Context

Deep in the Skypiea arc's endgame, this episode follows directly from Luffy's explosive confrontation with Enel and pivots to a parallel rescue thread involving Usopp and Sanji racing to save Nami. It functions as a critical bridge episode, keeping multiple storylines in motion as the arc barrels toward its climax. The groundwork laid here, particularly the crew's coordinated resistance against Enel, sets the stage for the final decisive battles that define Skypiea's conclusion.
