EPISODE REVIEWS

Robin has the best theories about the history here, and it makes the ruins feel way more important than just old buildings.

Episode Context

Deep into the Skypiea arc, the Straw Hat crew has scattered across the island's hostile landscape, and this episode capitalizes on that separation by isolating Chopper against one of Enel's four priests. Earlier episodes established the priests as elite threats and Skypiea's power structure as something deeply oppressive, this confrontation delivers on that buildup while Gan Fall's involvement begins threading together the island's buried political history. It sets the stage for the crew's escalating clashes with the remaining priests and the inevitable reckoning with Enel himself.
