Episode Context

Coming off the crew's initial arrival and wide-eyed exploration of Skypiea, this episode marks the pivot from discovery to danger, the rules of the sky island become clear, and so do the stakes for breaking them. It deepens the foundational conflict with Enel's regime that will drive the entire Skypiea arc forward.
