That entrance on the back of the falcon was incredible and seeing the look on Vivi's face when she realized she wasn't alone anymore made that entire scene

The desperation in Vivi's voice while she was standing on that ledge was honestly hard to watch, and Crocodile just throwing her off like garbage made him the most hated villain yet and when Luffy swooped in on Pell and told her he heard her it felt like the biggest relief ever and now he finally has a way to hit that sand guy

Pell flying Luffy in at the last second was such a huge moment, and it really felt like there was hope again after all that chaos

The way Vivi kept shouting for the fighting to stop made me feel so bad for her and I am just glad Luffy finally made it back

Luffy showing up with a giant barrel of water is the most Luffy thing ever and it was so good seeing Crocodile actually look surprised for once

Seeing Vivi look so happy when Luffy told her he heard her voice was moving and watching him land that first punch with the water was great

Crocodile is such a monster for laughing at Vivi while her country burns and he really deserves the beating Luffy is about to give him with that water

I really thought Vivi was done for when Crocodile dropped her and my heart sank seeing her fall but Luffy caught her just in time

Watching Vivi scream her lungs out while the armies just ignored her was so painful but then Luffy showed up on Pell and changed everything

Luffy caught Vivi in midair and I actually screamed and his line about hearing her voice was everything after Crocodile was being such a jerk to her

Pell flying in to save Luffy and giving him the water he needs for the fight was a huge relief now that Luffy has his water

The tension of the army charging while Vivi stands there helpless is the most stressful thing and that bomb countdown makes everything feel so desperate

Crocodile talks a lot of big game for a guy who keeps failing to actually finish anyone off and now he has to deal with a hydrated Luffy

That entrance on the bird with a giant barrel of water is the best way to start the rematch and it looked so cool

It was painful watching Vivi on that ledge screaming her lungs out for everyone to stop fighting, she worked so hard and nobody could even hear her over the war and then Koza gets sniped by the agents while holding a white flag and it made me feel like everything is just falling apart for Alabasta

Nico Robin is so confusing because she works for Crocodile but then she tells King Cobra all about Luffy and his crew and her motives are a total mystery

Catching Vivi in mid-air while riding on Pell was such a good return for Luffy, seeing him stand up to Crocodile again is exactly what Alabasta needed

I was yelling at the screen when the straw hats finally realized there was a bomb and they have to find that cannon before the whole plaza blows up

Crocodile is such a menace for letting the rebels shoot Koza and then trying to drop Vivi from the palace and he really is the most hated guy right now

EPISODE CONTEXT

Episode 121 arrives at a critical juncture in the Alabasta arc, immediately following the collapse of a hard-won ceasefire as outside forces reignite hostilities between the rebels and the royal army. This episode escalates the stakes dramatically, positioning Vivi and Luffy at the center of events that feed directly into the final confrontation with Crocodile. It serves as the emotional and narrative fulcrum of the arc — everything before built to this moment, and everything after hinges on what unfolds here.
