Episode Context

Deep in the Alabasta arc's climactic stretch, this episode follows the splitting of the Straw Hat crew across Alubarna's battlefields established in Episode 113. Usopp and Chopper's fight is one of several simultaneous confrontations that must resolve before the crew can reunite and face the arc's true endgame.
