delivers a strong mix of action and consequence. Rob Lucci attempts to reassert dominance, but the gap between him and Monkey D. Luffy remains evident. At the same time, Bonney’s emotional arc continues to evolve, grounding the episode in human stakes.

The fight between Egghead and the Marines commences.

A great transition of the present and the past, following the bond between Sentomaru and Kizaru. It gave the audience a different kind of emotional perspective with their fight even though it was such a small glimpse of the past.

Also, a surprising attack and a thrilling fight is about to begin! Next episode's going to be awesome!

Sentomaru stood his ground against a mentor he clearly loves, and Kizaru looked so conflicted even while he was taking him out. The history between those two really makes this fight hurt

Bonney trying to stab Saturn only for him to heal instantly while everyone is pinned down by that dark aura felt like such a desperate moment for the crew

Luffy grabbing that light beam like it was a solid object is the kind of gear 5 logic that makes these fights so fun to watch even when the stakes are this high

The animation during the Yata no Kagami sequence was brilliant, and it really captured how fast Kizaru is compared to everyone else on the island

Luffy kicking Kizaru right in the face while saying he is a hundred times stronger than before was the ultimate payback for Sabaody and the animation for the Gear 5 movements looks absolutely insane right now

Ginny's desperate plea for help as the Celestial Dragons hunted them down in God Valley just sent shivers down my spine, it's honestly so messed up how those rich jerks treat everyone else. And seeing Kuma finally get his Paw-Paw Fruit power felt less like a cool moment and more like a tragic twist of fate for him right then.

The transition into Kumas flashback was so smooth and seeing his dad talk about Nika while they were still in chains just makes everything happening on the island feel so much heavier

Zoro and Lucci still clashing in the background while the world is basically ending around them is such a classic move

I still cant get over how scary Saturn looks in that spider form and the way that marine just died from looking at him was terrifying to watch

My breath caught when Kuma appeared holding baby Bonney. I just can't get over the sheer emotional weight of him, after suffering so much already, still choosing to embrace fatherhood; it makes me see his quiet strength in a whole new, heartbreaking light.

Those drums of liberation booming back as Luffy locked eyes with Saturn totally gave me chills; it was such a defiant answer after everything gnarly that went down. I'm so hyped to see just how much more Gear 5 is gonna push the boundaries against someone like him, knowing what we know now.

Saturn appearing in that massive pentagram was chilling, and the fact he treats everyone like insects makes him the most hatable villain in a long time

Okay, when Luffy just straight up grabbed that light beam like it was nothing, my jaw dropped! I mean, only he could turn Kizaru's attack into a jump rope, and seeing the marines' faces was priceless – they clearly weren't ready for this level of rubbery chaos.

Bonney finally getting a hit on Saturn felt so good for a second and then his wound just closed up with that black gross stuff and the power gap between them is actually disgusting and I have no idea how they survive this

The transition from the sweet moments with Kuma and Bonney to that horrific spider monster Saturn was enough to give anyone whiplash. Seeing Kuma's childhood as a slave and then his father getting shot for just dancing was genuinely heartbreaking to sit through. I can't believe how much this man has suffered and now Saturn is just mocking his whole existence

Watching Saturn turn into that spider beast was genuinely terrifying and seeing that marine head just pop for looking at him is some straight horror movie stuff

Pacing on the Zoro and Lucci fight felt kind of dragged out compared to the Kizaru stuff and the constant jumping back to the flashback was a bit jarring

EPISODE CONTEXT

Building directly off Episode 1124's strategic tension as the Straw Hats navigate their escape from Egghead under a Marine blockade, Episode 1125 escalates the conflict dramatically with Kizaru's direct engagement on the island. This confrontation between Kizaru and Sentomaru serves as a critical inflection point in the Egghead arc, crystallizing the theme of former allies torn apart by duty and setting the stage for even higher-stakes confrontations ahead.
