I honestly didn't think Buggy had it in him to hijack the Cross Guild like that, especially with Mihawk and Crocodile literally beating him into the ground every five minutes, and the flashback to Loguetown really put everything into perspective for me because you can tell he just wanted Shanks to be the one to take Roger's place and lead the way
