The Egghead Arc kicks off with high tension as the world shifts after Wano. The Straw Hats head toward a mysterious island, while the story teases major global consequences. A strong start filled with intrigue.

The way the sky just opened up and erased Lulusia was terrifying because those people didn't even know what hit them and Imu just crossing them off like a chore felt so cold

It was cool seeing Zoro slice through that giant floating water bubble because the animation was so clean and I liked how Jewelry Bonney just tumbled out of the water

The Five Elders saying Lulusia never existed is the scariest thing because they can just rewrite history with one phone call and leave a massive hole in the middle of the ocean

I love the new art style and it looks so bouncy and fun compared to Wano especially when the crew was shivering in the snow and Luffy was making those goofy faces

Suddenly, that new opening blasted onto the screen, and its sheer energy totally got me hyped for this futuristic island. What a wild change of pace from Wano, and I'm genuinely relieved we're finally exploring something completely fresh after so long!

When that mechanical shark blasted out of the ocean, my jaw just dropped, seriously. But then, to have that massive robot come swinging in and just clock it right in the face before Vegapunk casually popped out? I didn't see any of that coming, what a crazy intro!

Jinbe diving into the freezing water to save Luffy and Chopper while a giant robot is fighting a mechanical shark was a huge save because they would have been gone otherwise

Whoa, I did NOT expect Vegapunk to look like *that* after all this build-up, what a wild reveal! Just when I thought it couldn't get any crazier, that ancient robot popping up to save them from the shark felt like a massive payoff after all the hints about the Void Century; it was seriously epic and left me buzzing.

Everything feels different now that the Wano arc is done and the feeling on the ship is so good even with them freezing to death in a blizzard and seeing Sabo try to tell Dragon about the throne was so intense and then that light came from the sky and turned the island into a giant hole in the middle of the ocean

You see that giant mechanical shark jump out of the water and suddenly the show feels like a different world and the colors look amazing now

Everything about the new art style looks so smooth and fluid, especially when the Straw Hats were freezing in the snow and then fighting that crazy mecha shark

I still can't believe the World Government just deleted a whole island off the map and seeing Imu cross it out like a chore was terrifying

Luffy and the crew finding Jewelry Bonney trapped in a giant floating bubble of water was such a weird way to start the new arc and she looks so different as a kid

Sabo trying to tell Dragon about someone sitting on the Empty Throne right before the signal went dark was so stressful and I really hope he survived that explosion somehow

I was stunned when that woman popped out of the robot and said she was Vegapunk because I always pictured an old man and this totally threw me for a loop

Luffy and the crew shivering in the snow was hilarious but the mood shifted so fast when the mecha shark attacked. It is kind of weird that Vegapunk is a girl but she seems interesting and her robot is huge

The shift from the heavy stuff with Sabo to the Straw Hats being their usual goofy selves in the blizzard was a lot to take in and you get this horrifying display of power from Imu then suddenly Luffy is freezing his butt off, that ending with the giant robot totally catches you off guard because Vegapunk is definitely not who you expected

Sabo sounds so desperate on that call and it is stressful waiting to see if he made it out of Lulusia alive. The World Government is terrifying for just erasing a whole country from the history books like that

I was not expecting Vegapunk to look like that at all and now I have so many questions about what is happening on this island

EPISODE CONTEXT

Directly following Episode 1088's exploration of Luffy's personal dream, this episode widens the lens considerably — connecting the crew's intimate ambitions to the broader world-shaking movements of the Revolutionary Army and World Government. It functions as a critical narrative bridge between the reflective post-arc cooldown and the crew's next major destination. The subsequent episode, 'A New Island! Future Island Egghead,' confirms that everything planted here is building toward the Egghead arc, making this essential setup viewing.
