The way they did the CGI for the pink dragon looked a little flat to me but the scene where Momo roared his name at Kaido still felt heavy because of all those flashbacks

When that giant pink dragon finally landed on the roof, I was cheering so loud for Momo, seeing him overcome his fear after all this time felt like a huge win for me. And Luffy telling him to just 'bite the strongest creature in the world' seriously made me realize how much Momo has matured, he's not that scared kid anymore.

Luffy grabbing Momo and forcing him to face his fear was a huge win in my book and that Haki punch he landed on Kaido while Momo was still hanging on looked so cool

Yamato holding the line alone was so intense, but when the clouds parted and revealed the second dragon, the look on Kaido's face was worth the wait

I was so hyped when Momonosuke finally bit Kaido and Luffy just backed him up like a big brother and it really felt like the tide was finally turning for the samurai in that moment

You could really feel the history behind that bite because of the way the animation showed the burning castle and his mother and it made that tiny bit of blood so satisfying

Momonosuke finally overcoming his paralyzing fear to bite Kaido felt like such a massive turning point for him, and I was so incredibly relieved to see him tap into that inner strength after everything he's been through. Yeah, the dragon CGI was a little clunky at times, honestly making me wince, but that rush of pure satisfaction when Luffy connected with Kaido made me completely forget any visual quirks.

When Momo *finally* sank his teeth into Kaido, I actually cheered out loud! For real, after all his crying, I was so proud to see him take a stand like that; it felt like such a massive turning point for him personally.

Momonosuke crying while his jaws were locked tight on Kaidos neck really showed how much he wanted to save Wano

Luffy coming back with a giant dragon is cool, but those Mink leaders losing their forms because of the clouds is terrifying

everyone in the castle hearing the broadcast about luffy being back changed the whole energy of the war and seeing sanji smirk at the news was a great touch

Kaido's absolute bewilderment when Momonosuke, in his enormous pink dragon form, just crash-landed on him and then *bit* his neck was amazing to watch. I truly didn't expect to see the Yonko so genuinely thrown off, almost like he couldn't believe what was happening to him.

Those massive pink and blue dragons swirling around each other against the dark sky, it actually gave me chills just thinking about the sheer power clash happening. I've never seen something quite so epic in One Piece, and it completely shifted my perspective on the true scale of this whole Wano war.

Momonosuke, as a pink dragon, circling with Kaido in the sky battle? I legitimately had to pause and rewatch that shot a couple times, just soaking in how far he's come. It’s wild seeing him so powerful and confident after being such a scaredy-cat at the start of Wano, and I’m hyped to see him continue to grow into that potential.

Yamato looking so beat up while Kaido told him he was alone really got to me because he fought so hard to protect the samurai while Luffy was gone

luffy returning with that huge haki punch to kaidos face was the perfect way to end the episode and the black lightning effects looked so good in that shot

The news of Luffy returning as a dragon spreading through the castle was cool, and seeing Sanji smirk while fighting Queen, really showed how much the crew trusts their captain.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Directly following Episode 1049's ascent to the rooftop where Kaido awaits, this episode converts that physical climb into an emotional one, forcing Momonosuke to transform from a frightened child into someone capable of standing on a battlefield alongside Luffy. It serves as a critical character pivot point within the Wano climax, bridging the setup of the rooftop confrontation with the escalating clashes that Episode 1051 and beyond will deliver.
