Episode Context

Episode 1048 sits deep in the Wano Country arc's climactic stretch, directly continuing the escalating Yamato-versus-Kaidou confrontation that reached a boiling point in Episode 1047. By grounding the conflict in Yamato's past and the legacy of Wano's great swordsmen, this episode enriches the emotional foundation for the major battles and revelations still ahead. It functions as both a character deep-dive and a narrative bridge, ensuring the stakes feel personal before the arc's final phase intensifies.
