Episode Context

Coming off Episode 100's focus on Kohza and Vivi's intertwined pasts, this episode pivots to flesh out Ace as more than just Luffy's cool older brother before the Alabasta conflict intensifies. It serves as a meaningful character pause within the desert stretch, bridging the crew's journey toward the kingdom's deeper political crisis explored in Episode 102 and beyond.
