it really felt like the story was just about to start for her. the whole series felt like an introduction because we basically only figured out a small portion of what happened and who she was. the plot was a bit slow and there was no huge plot twist happening yet. it was just a slow build up into learning about Meg as a person and what potential she had.

Me dejaron un vacío con este final de temporada. Conocimos por fin el pasado de Meg y su decisión de enfrentarse a este y perseguir su historia. Ahora a esperar por una segunda temporada para ver más de las aventuras de Meg y su maldición.

Episode Context

As the twelfth and final episode, 'The People I Love' follows directly from the breakthrough Meg and Jack achieved during the two-part 'Bells of Blessing' arc, pivoting sharply from that arc's external disaster scenario into a personal, reflective conclusion. The season's throughline. Meg's evolving understanding of herself, her magic, and her complicated family ties, reaches its emotional culmination here. Rather than resolving with spectacle, it closes the book on the season's core themes of identity and belonging through character-driven introspection.
