In comes the romantic love interest of the main character Seikichi. O-Riku is a no holds barred girl that is quite the firecracker. Way to go Sora for clarifying things before it went the romcom route. The set up for the ending makes sense, it is easy to miss with the gags that preceded it, but there was a subtle hint the deputy gave, which the beast took advantage of.
