Fresh out of college and assigned to the busiest section in the company, Hiroki is somehow convinced he can handle all of it without letting things get messy with Rie, his girlfriend of two years who works in admin down the hall. His new supervisor, Mai Sugiyama, is exactly the kind of person you don't want to be around when you're already trying to keep a relationship together, and Hiroki is not exactly a guy with the strongest willpower. The appeal here is that it actually bothers to set up the tension between professional ambition, loyalty, and temptation before things escalate. There's a character dynamic worth following, not just a series of disconnected scenes.
