Odekake Kozame 2nd Season Episode 2: Episode 2

Kozame-chan, a small shark, and Aoi, a young girl, admire bright flowers in a park. Aoi notes their beauty, and Kozame-chan responds with wide-eyed excitement. Two boys play with kendama nearby. The scene is bright, setting up a peaceful day.

A small bee floats near the flowers. Kozame-chan, driven by curiosity, reaches out to touch it with his head. The bee stings him directly on the forehead. A swollen, red lump appears instantly. Kozame-chan cries out, tears streaming, as the other children stop their play, shocked by the sudden pain.

Kozame-chan and his friends, along with a supervising adult, arrive at the "Yauo Clinic." A friendly frog mascot marks the building. Inside, Kozame-chan sits nervously, his forehead still noticeably swollen. His friends look on, worried. The scene emphasizes the quick, caring response of the community.

Inside the examination room, a kind doctor shows Kozame-chan a diagram of a bee with a red 'X', explaining why bees should not be touched. Kozame-chan looks sad and scared, understanding his mistake. The doctor then applies a cool, medicated swab to the sting. Kozame-chan winces and squeaks, feeling the cold medicine.

The medicine works quickly, and the swelling on Kozame-chan's head disappears. His face breaks into a wide smile as the pain vanishes. His friends, waiting in the hallway, cheer with relief and joy. Outside, the same bee flies past the window, offering a small "Gomen ne" – "I'm sorry" – in a thought bubble.
