Episode Context

Coming off the desperate rooftop rescue scenario in Episode 4, 'Cat Max' pivots from pure survival mode into world-building by introducing Arata and his fortified citadel, expanding the scope of the Nyandemic beyond immediate danger. Sitting near the season's midpoint at episode 5 of 12, it serves as a transition from the early chaos into a more structured conflict. This directly sets up Episode 6, 'Cat Rising,' where the group takes on a mission to find a missing team, suggesting the alliances formed here will be tested quickly.
