📖 SYNOPSIS

Clara visits her Aunt Gerda and Uncle Drosselmeyer, where she is warned of the Ragman, a shadowy figure who stalks sleeping children, turning them into mice if they stay awake past their bedtime. The Ragman is always watching, seeking his next victims. Before Clara goes to sleep, her eccentric Uncle Drosselmeyer gifts her a wooden nutcracker doll. He is self-conscious about the doll's imperfections, but Clara adores it, especially its perfect heart. That night, after drifting off to sleep, Clara is startled awake by the sound of mice, hinting at the Ragman's presence and the beginning of a nightmarish adventure. The story sets up a world of childhood fears and the power of imagination.
