Nura Rikuo, a seemingly ordinary middle-school student, secretly carries the blood of the powerful Nura Clan, a group of youkai. As the grandson of Nurarihyon, the clan's master, Rikuo is destined to lead. Having recently settled the hostilities between his clan and the Shikoku Yokai, Rikuo's responsibilities are far from over. An ancient enemy of the Nura Clan, Haguromo-Gitsune, suddenly reappears after 400 years.
