Hidden within the walls of a Japanese academy is a secret club whose entire philosophy is dedicated to something called 'Zupposism' — a made-up hedonistic doctrine that sounds like it was invented by someone who read too much Nietzsche while extremely horny. Our protagonist, a regular student just trying to get through his day, stumbles into this underground society by accident and immediately gets pulled into their world by the club's charismatic, slightly unhinged president and her timid vice-president. From there, it's a revolving door of increasingly ridiculous "initiation rituals" designed to convert him to their cause, while he desperately tries to cling to anything resembling a normal school life. The thing that sets this apart from the usual fare is the tone. This OVA leans hard into absurdist comedy — think slapstick expressions, exaggerated reactions, and scenarios that escalate so fast they loop back around to being funny. It's less about romance or drama and more about how far things can spiral before the whole premise collapses under its own ridiculousness. The satirical edge gives it a different energy compared to something played straight. If you liked the comedic chaos of Mankitsu Happening or the over-the-top premise battles of Nuki Doki, this hits a similar wavelength but cranks the absurdity up further. Fans of Eroge!
