📖 SYNOPSIS

"Nonki na Tousan Ryuuguu Mairi" follows a lazy man who, after waking up, goes fishing. A brief live-action shot of the sea transitions to an animated fantasy world where a beautiful girl appears and leads him underwater. He is transported to an undersea kingdom ruled by fish and squid, where he is welcomed by kimono-clad women. He enjoys the court's musicians, dancers, and alcohol. He is given a gift box and then taken back to the surface. Upon returning home, he finds he has aged and is unrecognizable to his family. He opens the gift box, unleashing a demon that crushes him. He then wakes up, realizing it was a nightmare, and hurries to work, learning the dangers of idleness.
