Poetic ending. It definitely makes sense that Mireille didn't just end it right then and there. Simply because that would be bad for the show (although logical) and maybe end it too soon. The rain was a perfect fit for both their emotional states, including the exact moment it stopped for them to face off. We're very close to the end so I hope there isn't too many of staring and repeating the same lines.
