Instead of focusing only on their missions. The story also showed Kirika and Mireille enjoying ordinary moments. I liked seeing Kirika discover a new hobby as it gave her a chance to experience something normal despite her dark past. It also showed a softer and more human side of her character

I thought I predicted the ending but I was completely wrong. And honestly, the outcome was a lot worse. Really fucking sad the way it ended and Kirika did not deserve that. A completely random episode turning into something meaningful and maybe even promoting character growth for Kirika? Hopefully that's the case. Girl needs to open up more (and she was already having fun before that happened).
