Whew, I thought it was just going to be yet another mission but now there's a plot twist? It looks somewhat connected to the teased scenes but I could be wrong. The episode was setup only for this moment and we're left with no much to go off of. Can't wait to learn more because that's a massive bombshell of a cliffhanger.

I am impressed by the skills and clever moves of the two assassins. I highly recommend this anime. The writing is really well done and the story keeps getting more interesting with every episode. The writer did an excellent job creating such a nice and suspenseful story.
