In this episode, there’s a lot of character development and story intersections. So far, it’s a charming way of introducing more protagonists, and the unexpected changes have me really happy. 9.5 out of 10, solid.

I love the casual feel of this episode as we get to know more of Chiaki and Nodame as they both go through the notions of dealing with music school work. The segments where they show closeups of instrument playing genuinely looks so good as well!
