This pilot episode starts with an intense scene right away. The idea of a shy and clumsy schoolgirl in an action sci-fi anime makes it really interesting. The anime feels nostalgic, and the colors are very vibrant too. A lot of unexpected things happen in the first episode wow😮, no wasting time at all.

This ep is a total adrenaline shot and the historical twist is actually so cool. We finally get the E-Gene lore and character depth needed to see why Shio is obsessed with military history.
