Nobunaga the Fool

A bit of an anticlimactic end for the main antagonist, but the rest of the ending is alright. Not well-written but ends on a brighter note. Overall, a good but not great anime series.

Many more noble sacrifices are made just to reach King Arthur while the plot by Mitsuhide and King Arthur finally bears fruit.

This opening episode was a lot messier than I thought. With an engaging start from the woman and fire, then eventually, who'd have thought that some familiar names in history would be involved? What got me hooked was the star-studded voice actors! Light, Gin-san, Eren, and Zoro!

A battle of wits and words between Nobunaga and Caesar is a sight to see in this episode, while a bombshell of a decision comes from someone unexpected.

With a grim premonition from the tarot cards, Nobunaga and everyone else still fight back against the odds, but the cost seems to be too great not just for the combatants but for the civilians as well.

Hideyoshi is the focus of this episode with a little background regarding his past while Nobunaga and the rest plans on attacking Caesar and his new ally.

A powerful introduction to Kenshin Uesugi and Caesar is just getting more and more despisable everytime he's on screen and a training arc for Joan to become a pilot starts.

A great episode chock-full of emotions from different characters and their ways to grieve with political dissidence brewing underneath. A great episode that conveys every character's convictions throughout.
