EPISODE REVIEWS
I appreciate the fact that this show has room for humor despite looking like it would be out of place in it; that's some remarkable narrative skill right there. And it also works by giving the cast much more personality than expected. As always, the fights were great and exhilarating, with some drama thrown in. Let's keep this momentum going next episode.
It's refreshing to see these powerful, extraordinary beings trying to adjust to a regular human life. The lighthearted, comedic tone at the beginning helps balance the later shift in tone. And a special mention goes to Tashiro for being such an inclusive and respectful friend.
The slow build finally pays off a bit 👀 M-21 and Regis surprisingly make a fun duo, while the DA-5 arrival instantly raises the tension. That ending cliffhanger though??? The action and soundtrack went hard there.
