Episode Context

As episode one of twenty, this is pure foundation, establishing Raku, Chitoge, and Onodera as the central players and introducing the locked pendant mystery that drives the entire season. No prior context needed; everything starts here. The dynamics set up in this premiere, particularly the friction between Raku and Chitoge, will escalate rapidly in the episodes that follow as the false love arrangement takes shape.
