Nippon Sangoku: The Three Nations of the Crimson Sun Arc Review

Nippon Sangoku is definitely one of the best Spring 2026 anime. Not only does it have a great opening and high-quality animation, but the story is also incredibly engaging. Especially the latest episode, Episode 3, which is full of plot twists and shows how terrible a government can be.

Since this anime is focused on Sangoku (the Three Kingdoms), the characters do look similar to the people from that era. Aoteru looks like Zhuge Liang, while Taira really looks like Dong Zhuo to me. I’m not sure if there’s a real connection, but let’s find out in the upcoming episodes!
