Episode Context

This episode sits at the center of a quirky three-part mini-arc dedicated to ninja hair care, directly contrasting the previous installment's focus on soft hair by swinging hard in the opposite direction with Shinbei's rock-solid spikes. It establishes a grooming-related comedic dilemma that feeds directly into the next episode's investigation into the mysterious true identity of a conditioner. Together, the trio of episodes forms one of the show's trademark themed gag clusters.
