Episode Context

Episode 1959 follows directly after 'The Kappa of the Far-back Mountain,' which sent the Ha-class students into comedic territory involving supernatural folklore rumors. This episode continues the series' episodic, non-serialized flow, serving as a transitional chapter before 'The Kunoichi's Rules.' No overarching arc momentum is required to appreciate it, it stands comfortably as a self-contained slice of ninja school life.
