"Ningen Shikkaku: Director's Cut-ban" presents a cinematic re-imagining of the anime adaptation of Osamu Dazai's novel, "No Longer Human." This film compiles and re-edits four episodes of the original anime series. The character designs are inspired by the work of manga artist and novel illustrator Takeshi Obata. This "director's cut" includes newly created "navigation" footage, specifically designed for the film. This new footage is narrated by Masato Sakai, adding a fresh perspective to the narrative.
