The scene with the scarred machine lifeform and the flower was so cute and wholesome. There's a war going on, yet humans still have a tendency to be rude. Lol. The background music was on point. 2B looked so beautiful. Wow.
This episode focused more on the enemy side with the robots and humanized them. It was interesting to see them gain a new focus while on a mission. Also, I'm curious what history is there with the Resistance.
I like that we get glimpses of other YoRHa units and androids! Plus, we also get to see the POV of a machine?! 😲 omg I teared up when I heard the City Ruins/Rays of Light theme… It’s my fav track: so atmospheric and used in the best way here 🥹 There’s more introductions to the lonely world of this story, and a lot of it was shown with very minimal voice acting. Just gorgeous music, amazing visuals, and bleak vibes. The middle part shows us some of the androids struggling on Earth, including one standout character who didn't have a major role in the game (I’m SO interested in Lily’s story!) And in the end, we shift back to HQ and missions, like the OG game. Cool mix of game events and some new material~
